NCASB Athletic/Activity Programs

FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE BLIND or VISUALLY IMPAIRED

JOIN THE IOWA RAMS!

    IESBVI supports extra-curricular activities by offering students in grades 7th through 12+ the opportunity to play on a competitive level with other athletes from other schools in the North Central Association of Schools for the Blind – NCASB.  Students work with Iowa Rams coaches and participate in various events around the Midwest. 

 

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Be in at least the 7th grade and/or 14 years of age, up to 20 years of age as of September 1st of the current school year.
  • Must be eligible according to the student’s home district school and have a completed state of Iowa athletic physical form for participation.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of independence as teams travel outside of Iowa and students are responsible for their self-care.
